There were 32,535 new claims to ACC in the road category for 2014 / 2015. New claims included:
- Cars 23,264
- Motorcycles 3,757
- Pedestrians 1,816
- Cyclists 1,582
In 2014/15, the total cost to ACC for all motor vehicle claims was $381m; of that $81m -- 21% -- was for motorcycle related injuries.
